PA26/00024 - Tree Preservation Order Approved

Proposal

Works to trees under Tree Preservation Orders, namely, 1) Tree 1 Prunus - Crown is suffering dieback with several branches broken / hanging. Leaning in towards garden. Sap can be seen leaking from damaged areas. Fell tree completely. We will plant a new ornamental Cherry nearby in a position to give it space and light to thrive. 2) Tree 2 Bay Tree - Remove 4 x heavily leaning stems, thin and reduce remainder to approx 3m height. 3) Tree 3 Cherry Tree - Tree is heavily leaning and is propped up by adjacent bay. Remove main stems to unions at approx 2m height where already broken, retaining new vertical growth. Tree may stabilise with reduced weight. Data via plota.co.uk
