Reason - Ash dieback is present and there is crown decline and there was fungal fruiting body present at the time of inspection. Reducing this tree to a smaller size reduces weight on the unions and tries to retain the tree for longer. G1 (labelled 902 on site plan) - Ash - Crown reduce by 2m to previous cuts. Reason - There is ash dieback present and it appears the tree has started to see some decline in the crown. There was also fungal fruiting body when inspection was undertaken. Reason - to allow light travel down both footpaths and protects the streetlight from being damaged.
