P2026/0374/TRE - Tree Works Notification in Conservation Area Approved

Proposal

Rear T1 Silver Birch x 1 (Betula pendula / alba) This 12m silver birch has not previously been reduced, but the neighbour has cut a branch back to the boundary that has died. The tree has outgrown its location. Suggested work: - sensitive full crown reduction - reduce the height by 2.5m - reduce the lateral growth by 2-3m - thin by 15% - remove climbing rose from the crown break, cut down to fence height Rear T2 Cherry x 1 (Prunus spp) This 14m cherry tree has not been reduced previously. It is growing close to the property, with lateral branches touching the roof. With a tree this size on London clay base there will always be a risk of subsidence. We recommend removal and replanting with another fruit tree. - fell to ground level Front T3 Buddleia x 1 This overgrown buddleia offers good privacy to the front of the house, but needs pruning to maintain a more desirable shape. Suggested work: - reduce back from the house by 2-3m - reduce the height of the remaining canopy 2m - cut back from pavement to boundary of garden… Data via plota.co.uk
