Proposal
Application for change of use for the five existing Residential units on 4th Floor North, 5th Floor North & South and 6th Floor North & South to Commercial use. The Honourable Society of the Middle Temple is preparing a Planning and Listed Building Consent application for the major refurbishment of 3 Temple Gardens. This will see the whole building converted to all commercial use and let to a single tenant. The building currently consists of nine commercial units on the Ground, 1st, 2nd 3rd and part 4th floor with five residential units in the remaining floors above. In preparation for the major refurbishment works, all commercial tenants have now vacated the building together with the residential tenants from 5th Floor North and 6th Floor North units. As the remaining residential tenants vacate, the units will be left vacant pending the major refurbishment works to the whole building. The three remaining residential tenants in 4th Floor North, 5th Floor South and 6th Floor South will be relocating to other units currently being prepared for them on the estate under the following applications. As the remaining residential units in 3 Temple Gardens become vacate, all modern fitted kitchens and appliances will be removed and all utilities, except those necessary to protect the building fabric and maintain fire safety will be isolated, rendering the units uninhabitable. When the last residential tenant vacates, the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple will then apply to have the Building removed from the HRB register. 25/01234/FULL ? 5 Pump Court 25/01235/LBC ? 5 Pump Court 25/01329/FULL ?
