Description
T1: Robinia in rear garden approx x20m (further to our aerial inspection dated 16th January 2026) - Due to included unions throughout the crown and weak areas where there are rubbing limbs in upper crown, we recommend the height is reduced by 2.5m and laterals (approx 6 - 8m) pruned back by up to 2m to rebalance crown, all to alleviate end weight on these defective areas, the existing Cobra bracing is now too low and ineffectual. Therefore, remove old bracing and replace with steel cabling and 2 x 4 ton slings set installed in high position to provide maximum support between 2 main stem (steel cabling is more robust and not susceptible to squirrel damage, but also non invasive.) Leave height at approx 17.5m and laterals approx 4m. Data via plota.co.uk
