Construction, operation and decommissioning of onshore electricity transmission infrastructure associated with the Spiorad na Mara Offshore Windfarm, comprising: up to 12 electricity cables and associated transmission joint bays (TJBs) to the landfall point; up to two onshore substations (one located at landfall and one to the southwest of Stornoway); underground electricity cables and associated infrastructure connecting the TJBs and onshore substation(s) with the SSEN Lewis Hub; temporary and permanent access roads and tracks; and associated access, ancillary infrastructure and works.
