Description
1.) Tree of Heaven (Ailanthus) at rear of property. This is a sucker from the much larger tree next to the house. It is straggly and overhangs the neighbour;'s garden and outbuildings. It has already damaged the trellis and is likely to damage the wall if not managed. The proposal is to fell the tree and remove the timber. 2.) Self-seeded Pineapple Broom at the front of the property by the gate. This was cut to ground level in 2016 (approx) but is now around 20ft tall and overhanging the footway. The proposal is to cut back to ground level, remove the timber and treat the stumps with glyphosate. Advice on both has been sought from a qualified arborist. Diagrams attached. Data via plota.co.uk
