Proposal
Tree Species - Oak (Quercus species). Proposed Works - Crown reduction of the Oak tree by up to 3 metres, pruning back to previous pruning points where visible and to suitable growth points in accordance with BS3998: Tree Work -Recommendations. The overall shape and natural form of the tree will be retained. Reason for Works - The Oak has significantly outgrown the space in which it is situated and is now producing large volumes of deadwood and debris. Substantial pieces of material have been dropping from the canopy. The tree is located directly above an area regularly used by a young family, including small children, and there is growing concern for their safety when using the garden and outdoor space beneath the tree. The proposed reduction is intended to: Manage the size of the tree in relation to its surroundings. Reduce the risk of falling debris. Improve safety for occupants and children using the area below. Maintain the long-term health and structural integrity of the tree. The works are considered reasonable, proportionate, and necessary for safety while retaining the tree as a valuable landscape feature TPO26/2000… Data via plota.co.uk
