Listed Building Application: Refurbishment of levels 5 and 6 of Student's Union and flying wing to create open plan office area, stripping out of partition walls and suspended ceilings, floor coverings, internal doors and glazing, remove Hi-Mac plastic panelling, renewal of electrical and heating infrastructure and renewal of heating plant on level 6, (enabling works for this include removal and reinstatement of the external curtain wall system adjacent to the flying wing), install 2 ventilation louvres to external elevation of level 6 plant room. Installation of suspended ceilings to the flying wing and to WCs in main building, replacement floor coverings, (possible restoration of original parquet floor) installation of new internal doors and glazing, internal secondary glazing, lighting, power and data; new radiators and pipework installed in the main building (to match existing) and in the flying wing (exposed pipework and white panel radiators to match existing), redecoration of all areas.
