Japanese Maple - light clipping works paying particular attention to the limbs over the garden, hedge and neighbours garden. Himalayan Birch group - Reduce the canopy in height by 40% and prune side limbs by 1-1.25 metres to shape. Prunus Amanogawa - Reduce in height by 2 metres and shorten the side limbs to balance the width and shape of the tree. Twin stemmed Cypress group - Remove stems on either side of the tree to clear the neighbouring shrubs by 30-45cm. Camelia and Purple Maple Group - Cut hard back by around 45 centimetres all around. Remove selected low limbs off the Purple Maple if required. Himalayan Birch - 1. Reduce in height to 60cm below the level of the ridge tile. Reduce the sides hard back by 1-1.25 metres.
