Description

I would like to fell the Araucaria araucana (monkey puzzle) that is currently located at the rear of our property that is situated close to the boundary wall with the holiday inn hotel located at the rear of our house. The tree / roots have caused damage to the patoi area at the back of our house and have also blocked and cracked a 4" rainwater drain that runs from the rear corner of the property. This has resulted in me replacing the drain with a new pipe and relaying the patio area. I am concerned that the damage will reoccur. The tree is also very close to the boundary wall at the rear of the property and I am concerned the roots could cause damage to the wall resulting in it falling. The tree is also not particularly attractive and is blocking the day light coming onto a large area of our back garden.
