Description

Replacement of phase conductors (electricity lines), on the existing 132kV OHL (AY Route Towers 1-8) shown, with slightly larger modern equivalents as part of network reinforcement but to remain a 132kv line. Requirement for access tracks and set down areas inside Goss Moor National Nature Reserve, which is also designated as a SSSI and SAC. Works being combined with proposed replacement of combined telecoms fibre/earthing wires being undertaken by National Grid Telecoms along the same route and using the same access ways etc. to limit impacts on SSSI/SAC site.
